JJ Green Night Market

If you can’t get to Chatuchak Market during the day then you should pay a visit to JJ Green Market in the evening.

JJ Green is a vibrant night market which is a three-minute walk from Chatuchak Park. The market is only open from Thursday to Sunday in the evening and it mixes a classic street market with a trendy, retro vibe. JJ Green seems to sell everything and it’s very cheap. Sunglasses, T-shirts, bags and many more items are available here. Unlike most Bangkok markets, JJ Green also sells retro apparel and clothing which gives it a unique edge. You can find many things here that cost just 100 Baht and you try your hand at bartering down the price.

The market also offers a wide range of restaurants and bars available. There is plenty of live music with cheap beer and most restaurants have traditional Thai food as well as Western cuisine. The nightlife is fantastic at JJ Green so if you are all shopped out it is still worth going down for something to eat and drink to experience Bangkok at night.

The market is open from 6pm to 1am from Thursday to Sunday and it is easy to find. From Mo Chit BTS Station or the MRT, walk up Kamphaeng Phet Road until you see a large sign that reads ‘Jatujak Green’. Click here for more information.
